One of the most serious difficulties in the quantum gravity research is analysis of the semiclassical regime of the theory. Within our activity we explore possibilities to study mesoscopic quantum gravity systems with the help of simulations on the contemporary and future quantum computers, as well as quantum computer simulators. The aim is to apply such simulations to investigate e.g. the emergence of classical spacetime from the dynamics of fundamental degrees of freedom at the Planck scale.
